Return & Refund Policy

Refunds are ONLY given for fish that are dead on arrival. To qualify for DOA refunds you must complete the following:

  • You must notify Dief's by email (diefsaquatics@gmail.com) within 3 hours of delivery time. Pictures must be sent with the following to qualify:
  1. The dead fish clearly visible.
  2. Fish in original packaging untampered & sealed.
  3. Any writing on the fish bag must be visible.
  4. Photo of shipping label.

Claims submitted after 3 hours from delivery will not be eligible for a refund.

Shipping costs are non refundable.

Any claims not following the directions will not be eligible for a refund.

HOW TO SUBMIT A CLAIM

Email Dief's Aquatics at diefsaquatics@gmail.com. Include order number, delivery time, photos described above, and a brief description of the issue. We will respond as fast as possible.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS 

No refund will be issued for mortality or health issues arising after 3 hours post-delivery. Including deaths due to improper acclimation, water parameters, quarantine procedures, or handling by the customer.

No refund if the claim photos do not clearly show the fish and original packaging, or if the delivery timestamp cannot be reasonably verified. 

Injuries or illness not present at delivery are not covered by DOA policy.
